One time me and my family where driving to Texas and our car got hit by a paintball, it came from the woods and these boys on motorcycles where following us for three miles, I took a picture of their faces and we called the cops. One thing I learned if you think someone is in your house grab a knife just a small one like a blade you would use to peel an apple or something like a Swiss Army knife that size of knife is fine and when you have the knife walk with it firmly in your hand pointing forward
Then go around your house and open every door make sure you open it all the way for every door and check if anything has been moved if it all seems normal check ur closet and attic
For the attic turn flash on and take as many pictures of different areas in ur attic as possible and check for anything resembling a human check under things a person could fit under if you’re 100% sure no one is there In your house you should be safe but keep the knife with you for a while and sit in a room and watch tv with your back against the wall but try to make it so the knife isn’t visible after a few hours or days depending on how worried you are it should be safe if someone is there however when you open all the doors stab them with the knife if you don’t instantly recognise them like literally jam the knife in there leg to slow them down get out of your house and call the police
